Clear bubble on tear duct?

Hi,
I’m not sure what I have and I would really like to avoid a trip to the doctors but of course if I need to I will. My mom told me it’s most likely a swollen tear duct but I’m not sure.
I woke up this morning with my eye itching and feeling like something was in it and when I checked the tear duct in the corner of one of my eyes was protruding more into my eye than normal and there’s a clear bubble in the pink part of my eye. I’m currently putting fake tears for dry eyes in and it’s helping with the itch but I can feel the bubble whenever I blink.
Any advice for what this might be?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
The opening of the tear duct (called the puncta) may be irritated and enlarged due to an infection, something in it, contact with an irritating substance. You likely do need to go in to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist for a definitive diagnosis and therapy.
