Cloudy vision still after YAG Capsulotomy

After the YAG my vision is still blurry, cloudy. My history is I had a vitreous detachment 14 months ago. I had in that eye a form of Uveitis that the cause was never identified, but I was treated with steroid drops for years (20), which caused the original cataract.

Two months after the vitreous detachment I had the IOL replacement. That was about a year ago. I just had the YAG about 2 weeks ago.

My vision is still cloudy, uncorrectable. There are strand floaters that obstruct my vision, but it is also cloudy, hazy, and never in focus even with correction. The IOL has done nothing.

So the cause of your blurred vision is something other than cataract. When you get an IOL you have a new lens but not a new eye. So your problem would be in the cornea, vitreous, retina, macula, optic nerve or optic tract/radiations/occiptal lobe. You will need to work with your eye physicians to determine the primary cause now and what can be done.
