I just picked up my 2 year old daughter from child care where her carer's said my daughter was looking shy with her head down and when they asked her to sit down for lunch, she looked up but her eyes were looking out the corner of each eye, in opposite directions. So this is not exactly cross eyed but in fact I guess the opposite. The carer's got quite a fright and called her to stop it. They clapped in front of her and she then snapped out of it and went back to normal. This happened twice in the same day. Should I be concerned about this? I haven't seen it personally but am keeping my eye out for it. The carer's said she did not laugh after she did it on both occasions, so she wasn't joking around, could it be an eye problem or seizure??? Am worried! She apparently was happy and care free the rest of the day! Would love some advice or feedback if you have seen this happen to another toddler.
Kindest Regards,
