Curved/Wavy Vision In Left Eye?

I've been having a problem with a curvy-ness my right-eye. When I close my left-eye (my good eye) and look at curtains or anything in my apartment, theres a morph or some sort or concave vision, like I'm looking through thick bent glass or the bottom of a coke bottle. It's really scary and hasn't gone away for about five weeks now. I went to the eye-doctor, she told me the back of both my eye's were swolen and that it might be caused from stress and that it could go away on its own. I have been a little stressed lately, more with this vision problem. I had snow-blindness about 6 months ago in the right-eye but it went away in a few days. This is worse, and it seems to have come out of no where.
ANY suggestions, please.?

I am having the same issues, blurred vision in only my left eye. I can read things but they move as if I am reading through water or a glass. My started after having a pretty intense cold then my eye was twitching for about 4-5 days.  Suddenly on my way to work one day I felt dizzy and realized it was my eye that was seeing "wavy".  I am making an appointment with an Ophthalmologist because I am getting mixed messages between it being stress, a retinal tear, aura migraine or Macular degeneration.  I am hoping with the twitching it ends up being stress related but since it has not cleared up since thanksgiving, I'm not giving it any more time.

I've had an arching wave in my vision occassionally with no pain.  The specialist I saw said I have occular migranes.  Mine will go away in about 30 minutes.  Seems to happen more when i'm in strong sunlight.

This sounds like it could be central serous retinopathy. There are some recent posts about it so you might wish to put that in the search feature.

You should see a retina subspecialist (an eye MD ophthalmologist) for further evaluation and possible treatment. This should not be ignored.
