Damage to eye

Perhaps a rather odd question, I understand I’m being paranoid. I had my retina examed / OCT scan and others. My ophthalmologist said optic nerves all healthy, he then then pulled out his tape recorder and mentioned the word “cup”, I asked is my eye health all okay and he said yes. I guess my paranoid question is, if all my optics and stuff are healthy, could my cup be damaged?

Yes you are being paranoid.  "Cup" refers to the dimple in the optic nerve technically known as cup to disk ratio and party of every written report.
