Hi, I'm a 28 year old male and I have a problem that's been bordering me starting even from my teen years. When I look around me, it's like I see everything in 2d not three-dimensional. I mean it's not exactly 2d but I also don't see around me the depth which I could see before my teen years. I had a check up by the doctor a few times and I have a small -0.50 nearsightedness, but even when I did wear eye glasses or contacts I didn't notice any difference in depth perception. A few times I did have back that 3d feeling, when I was at the doctor and I'm looking at this device which examines your eyes and when looking at the picture in there only for a moment I had that 3d effect but I could sense that I can't sustain it, and after a brief second it disappears. I also have that 3d effect when looking at the mirror (not trying to be funny) and actually that feeling doesn't disappears but there is no way to replicate that anywhere else. I couldn't find any information on the internet for my problems, and I am little bit scared to ask the doctors about this, that they will think it is all in my head, imagining it. I hope someone has some information regarding my problems.
