Do I really need to see a retina specialist?

I earlier posted a question about whether my headaches could be related to the nevus the optomitrist found.  He referred me to a retina specialist.  Dr. Kutryb was kind enough to assure me the nevus is no big deal and not associated with my headaches.  I finally got in to see the retina specialist this week.  The office was crowded, dingy and the doctor was running an hour behind schedule - so I left.  Can't I go to a regular opthlamologist to a have the nevus checked and photographed?

That is scary about the dingy office. Those guys make a lot of money and have spiffy offices, usually.

I had one who kept everyone, every time, waiting two hours. He could have spread his appointment out.
