Eve Pain

Please help:  I have had eye pain in my left eye for the past three years.  Every time I saw my eye doctor I was told it was just from over wear of my contact lenses, but I hadn' worn my lenses in awhile just to see.  Then in August of last year (2008) I couldn't wear my contacts and my eyeball, yes, my eyeball, started hurting with or without lenses and I have severe pain if I put my lense in.  I have been checked for sinus issues...none, I have been checked for MS...negative, I have been checked for everything I know, and nothing is helping.  I have tried several medications and nothing.  The eye pain starts in my eyeball, hurts to move my eye around in the socket.  Then the pain goes into my eye area and can even go over my head, into my neck.  The pain then turns into a massive headache.  They are not migraines, migraine medicine doesn't work for that either.  I have taken Lyrica, Carbatrol, Tramadol for pain, Aleve, You name it...I've tried it.  THe pain is now 24/7 and I would rather have no eyeball at this moment, than have this pain all the time.  I have seen three eye doctors, a sinus specialist and a neurologist.  Please, if anyone has had these symptoms or knows of anything, please help.  I am at my wits end and just want to have my eye back to normal.

Thank you so much,
Holly

You can still have MS and come up normal for every test.

I have MS and I've had all your symptoms- go back to yoru doc and demand that they do every test known to man to MS--MS cannot be diagnosed by any one test and it takes the average person 20 yrs to get a final diagnosis- plus there are other Autoimmune diseases that you can have that mimick MS.

What is your comment to the above suggestion from zombie634?   I noticed you had a line typed, but there is nothing there.  Do you agree?

Zombie634-Which specialist do you see for those tests???  I am all out of ideas!

Thanks for all your help!
