Eye issues and unexplained aura

Two months ago I went outside looked up and noticed hundreds of flashes. A few weeks later started noticing black circles accompanying the flashes whenever I look up at the sky the circles look similar to the reflection water makes against a well lit wall if that makes since. Went to the optomologist he looked inside of my eyeball saw no tissue degeneration or anything wrong with my eyeball. The black circles progressed and I began noticing them everywhere against white surfaces or cobble pathways I had no headache accompanying the aura or anything its just with me all the time when im outside. Went back to the optomologist and he still saw nothing. My family has no history of eye issues besides the aura my vision seems fine both doctors visits were spaced out about a month and he saw nothing wrong with me. The black circles or aura seem to be getting more defined I cant even look at grass now without the aura covering it. Im not sure what to do or whats wrong with me and its aggravating me. The aura has stirred up a wealth of anxiety and is making my studys and any physical activities incredibly difficult. Should I be concerned and any idea what im looking at ? The flashes accompanying the aura range from incredibly bright to less defined as the day goes on and the sky gets darker.

First of all it's: "ophthalmologist".   You have had two normal exams.  The thing that would cause this problem the most often is a hyperacute awareness of the blue field entoptic effect also known as the 'flying corpuscle effect.  Both have been discussed her many times. You can review these disucssions using the search feature. Also suggest your read the entry on wikipedia on 'entoptic or entopic phenomena.

Thanks for your response take care and sorry for misspelling that word.
No problem, misspelled more than spelled correctly.  Let us know if anything changes or if you find a definite causes.
I havent been able to find a definitive cause for why im experiencing this aura
Understand why I said "if"
The aura has become more pronounced in the daylight it covers everything im looking at outside now and im experiencing really bad spells of vertigo.
Vertigo is not in the area where ophthalmologists work.  Suggest you see a neurologist or ENT.
Im still experiencing the black spots they are consistent and not going away. Theyre wavy and cover any well lit surface such as a white wall or a road and even grass now. Im not sure what it is been looking all over online and havent been able to find anyone with similar symptoms had normal vision all my life. Now I cant even look at the sky or go for a walk in the daylight without experiencing those flashes against the blue sky and the black spots blanketing everything around me its quite distressing and at this point im just trying not to think about it. The symptons only appear in daylight usually its quite disorienting not sure what to do.
Then you can also start working on seeing a neuro-ophthalmologist. They are the Sherlock Holmes of eye diagnosis.
