I did something stupid

I used a plasma cutter for 1-2 minuets  without proper eye protection a long time ago I have noticed everything looks a little more blurry than before and I have double vision in both eyes. I went to an eye surgeon and they  said my eyes look fine but I'm still having vision issues. What could be my problem?

You could have damaged your cornea. Hopefully it is superficial and will clear over several days to a week. Hopefully you have not damaged your retina/macula. If it doesn't clear you will need to see Eye MD and get macular OCT and repeat exam. Don't do this again, learn from your mistake.

Thanks for your answer, I’ll give it another week or two and if it doesn’t clear up I’ll see if I can get in again. I definitely learned my lesson, I just wish my welding teacher went over some plasma cutter safety before letting us use it. it could of saved me and everyone else in my class from hurting there eyes.
Best of luck.
