Flashes after retinal detachment surgery

I am having  lens implant in a couple of weeks as I am aphKic at present, the flashes are like shimmering lights when I close my good eye there is a shadow but not dark like before the surgery.  If there is a problem  will the surgeon be a le to see it during my next surgery.

Do u see flashes like originating from corner and spreading like semicircle and then disappear

Yes similar,it was a bright arc of light which was really obvious in the dark this has evolved into a shimmery light I see during the day which flashes in front of my vision When I sW the surgeon he said he couldn't  see a problem and that it was probably  the healing process. I think flashes of light should always be a concern and
I would definitely  get yours checked  out if you are worried it is worth peace of mind . I am seeing my surgeon  again soon and will ask him again about these flashes.
I recently checked a week ago he told break is well settled on buckle some sub retinal fluid is still there and he performed lasrr
I guess we just have to believe the experts but anything we are not happy about re new changes we go back again
