Can Autopathy ( fasting) help with eye floaters and eye health

l read somewhere  that intermittent fasting to induce Autopathy the process where the body clears up dead cells and proteins can help reduce eye floaters and improve eye health, DO you think its possible for Autopathy to reduce eye floaters or help with general eye health

thanks ,  l have quite a few annoying floaters , is there any way to avoid getting more floaters in the future or l will just get more the older l get, l will need cataract surgery in a few years , l read cataract surgery can create more floaters, is cataract surgery likely to create more floaters or is that a rare side effect
If you find my name on this page under "Recent Activity" and click on the blue link it will take you to my home page. Look under Journal Postings, I think there are 35.  You will have to scroll through them but there are several postings on floaters and how much they annoy people.  There are lasers to try and break floaters up, none work well including the new one. There is "floater only vitrectomy" but risky and in people with their own natural lens it inevitably causes cataracts, so rarely recommended. Cataract surgery generally does not cause floaters, however because people see so much better and have better contrast sensitivity they see them after surgery when they didn't before.
