Post this as a new question for the doctor, about the weights/gym.
Her knowing the symptoms of retinal detachment is of great importance. Teach her rhese and quiz her on them. I sent them to you in a message before.
Yearly dilated exam by Eye MD unless he/she advises every 6 month.

I have had floaters almost my whole life. They do just become part of the scenery. You will get to a point when the only time you notice them is when someone mentions floaters
Yes, use your eyes for any visual task you wish including computers and video games.

Usually OK. Doctor will comment.
Hi Dr.
I went today to hospital to see eye docotr (optimist/optholmoligist), the nuurse provided me with the eye drop and then went to teh test.
The DR. said my retina is fine/perfect no problems at all and he said my brain will try to learn how to forget teh floaters,, I have to live with them.
He told me to come back if I have incresed number of floaters or flashes at any point.
Take care and thanks a lot,
one question: is it ok to use computers(i work on them 8 hrs per day) or game consoles and go to cinema or gets it worse for teh floaters, forgot to ask teh Dr.

Hi Dr.
I tested positive for a urethra infection but negative for HIV, coz it is related to floaters, and phoned direct line and told me to go to my GP again and tell her to send me to specialist...so will do that sometime this week hopefully
Thanks a lot
That's why they are called "gatekeepers".

Hi Dr,
I thought so, I actually did my surgery outside this country back home, but will go to hospital to try to book an appointement because in UK usually the GP has to refer you to a specialist.
Thanks a lot
You GP is talking out of his area of expertise. Call the Eye MD that did your lasik and go in for a dilated retina exam. Search "floaters" in this forum.
