Floaters

Dear Doctor,
I am 26 years old. In January last year, I used steroid eye drops (fludrocortisone) for the treatment of chalazion for 2 weeks. Initially, the dose was 4-5 per day, then three times a day. The second week - twice a day. A week after the end of treatment I was in ophthalmologist, who examined my eye pressure and made me a fundus examination. All results were normal. Three months later I got floaters in both eyes. I would add that I have vision defect -6. Do floaters come from steroids?

Thank you in advance.

Floaters do not result from steroid drops.  They are in  the vitreous of the eye, in front of the retina.  If you had a sudden onset of many new floaters, you need a dilated exam with a retina specialist to be sure that there is no retinal tear/detachment in the eye.
