Focusing epidodes

I have had three episodes where focusing has been afected for short (seconds) of time.  Two of them are related with fast eye movement from side to side, however one very short episode (less than second) occurred when reading the newspaper.  Could these be TIA's?

This discussion is related to focusing problems with eyes.

I had two eposides of blurred vision.   Both times I was looking at the computer.  I had a haze around the letters. I could letters in the middle of my line of sight, but around the middle was a blurred haze.  I looked up a the tv and tried to focus on words on the TV.  I could see the middle of the words only.  Is this unusally.

I have been having difficulty focusing to read or see the computer screen.   I am 65 years old and have dry eyes, for which I use drops.  I have some pain in the far right side of my right eye.  It feels like eye strain.  I have seen the Dr. and he prescribed reading glasses.  But why the pain?
Thanks

I doubt it.  Please see an EyeMD, an ophthalmologist.
