Ghosting vision and starburst what could it be?

Hi I have ghosting vision both eyes, i see an image and another faint extra image, if i look at the object that second image increase. Also the same effect occurs on lights, I see the lights like stars or starbursts and the reflect of the sun I see like starburst too. I have this problem about 10 years but before I can see the tv or read and the ghosting wasn't annoying like today. I went with 2 different eye doctors and they told me nothing wrong with my eyes, only a little bit of astigmatism. Could please some of you tell me if there is a solution??

Your complaint is common. This is short summary of causes:  needing glasses, incorrect or improperly fitted glasses,  improperly fitted contact lens, corneal disease especially irregular astigmatism,  cataracts, macular disease, retina/optic nerve disease.

The doctor told me my astigmatism is simple and it is not the cause of my symptoms. The doctor made me tests and nothing wrong: (

You can either leave it at that. Or you can find a Eye MD ophthalmologist that specializes in cornea/refractive surgery and have special tests including cornea topography and macular OCT.

Optometrists, ophtalmologists and neuro-ophthalmologist say I need to learn how to live with this, if it helps when I squint (not really close my eyes I see vertically double) maybe anxiety can exacerbate my problems I don't know. Thanks a lot

I know because over thinking a lot with my problem don't  let me live. My final question. Dry eye could cause staffers and ghost??

I don't know what staffers means.  Ghosting BUT it would go away with repeated blinking or installation of artificial tears.

Sorry I didn't want to say staffers is a cellphone error jeje I mean starbursts.
Oh then is not dry eye.
