Glaucoma drops in fridge

Is anyone putting their glaucoma eye drops in the fridge? If so, what is temperature where you store them in the fridge?
My opthamologist said it is okay to store the drops in the fridge so that they become cool and therefore you know when the drops enter your eyes.
Anyone?

And what is that? 40 degrees F?

I ask because leaflet with drops (Alphagan, Xalatan and Levobunolog) states "store at 59 - 77 degrees.

On a shelf would be 40 degrees, which I thought might be too cold. I put mine in bottom vegetable bin which is about 50-60, depending on how many times door has been opened.
