Both eyes have been operated; the first 6 weeks ago, the second a week ago. the first brought briliant colors and clear long distance then a few days ago developed less definiton and a cloudy patch at the point of focus. The clinic says this could be fixed by laser unless it resolves it self.
Question 1. is this a frequent ocurrence or my bad luck and what's the chances of resolving itself?
Question 2. I'lm also told I will have to wait three months for a tests for reading glasses? Is that a bit long?
i'm 85 and reading is about all i've got left.

As far as reading glasses, I would simply go to the drugstore and buy a pair. If your near vision changes, you will have to buy another pair, but at least, in the meantime, you will be able to read.

You probably have capsular haze. A yag laser will take care of it.
