Gray Curtain Moving Across The Field of Vision

Hello everyone,

I have retinal holes and degeneration in both retinas. And I have many floaters as many other people with such problems do.
However, these opacities in my vision create a real problem especially when I am under flourescent lights or outdoors.
I am ok with the normal floaters in shape of fibres and specks but my problem is the ones that move across my field of vision as semi-translucent gray clouds. They are not fibres, specks or dots but just like a ghost moving from left to right continuously. They hinder my vision in certain lighting and freak me out.
My eyes have been checked and I have been told that there is nothing to do about them rather than getting used to. They say they are also vitreous opacities. We decided not to do anything about the holes for now and continue routine controls.

I am wondering does anyone else in this forum also have this syndrome? And, did you find any solution?

I tried to sketch them and attached the picture to give you some idea of what I see.

Thank you for your help.

When I move my eyes from side to side, i have similar problems, like some blobs of water move back and forth (under certain lighting conditions).

It is probably a floater also as floaters, like people, come in all sizes and shapes. Some floaters look like little pieces of a fine lace cut into small pieces.
