Grey blind spot

Had Vitrectomy and buckle 6 weeks ago bubble at 20% now. I notice after first week that I had a grey patch in my central vision that moves with eye movement and has not got any smaller yet. Wondering if it will clear up or if it’s a permanent blind spot from damage during surgery?

Sorry, no way to answer your question. RD and vitrectomy type surgery are so different and unique that it is not possible to generalize about the way you can with cataract/IOL surgery. You will need to discuss with your retina surgeon.
