How to cope with dominance regained after surgery

Hi, I have (3 yrs) a cataract on my dominant eye. So my weak non-dominant took over by now: I work, write, read and drive using it. The switch costed me many dizzy spells and what have you. I will have the cataract surgery soon. This will hopefully restore the old dominance. Can you advise some tips on how to tackle this switch of dominance?
Regards, Paul

Doctor,
Can you advise some tips on how to tackle the switch of dominance?
I mean what to expect? How to train / practice? For how long? Any "surprise" methods - like cucumber or horseradish or other, perhaps bizzare, nevertheless helpful method.
Your hint of "fixing my other eye" I cannot, unfortunately, use for two reasons:
Firstly, what is there to fix? Nonexistent cataract in that eye? Replacement of lens?
Secondly, if you meant surgery, here in Poland, where I currently am, they are very strict about 6 months gap between eye surgeries. Which leaves me with - still unanswered - question: how to best survive the switch of eye dominance - back to what it used to be.
