I can make my natural blindspots 'flash' in the dark?

Have had many eye exams in the last two years (ophthalmologist) due to something else. I'm all okay.

This may be hyperawareness but I've noticed in the dark (bed-time) when my eyes are closed and I look quickly to the side/strain a little bit with far gaze - I can make my blind spots ''flicker/flash'' breifly. Is this normal? It happens in both eyes simultaneously and doesn't occur without the above action.

As i recall you are the solar maculopathy person that goes to the ophthalmologist every 3 months.   Read the section in wikipedia on entopthic phenomena.  LINK:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entoptic_phenomenon
