I had my eyes dilated last friday and now I cant see

I went for an eye exam last week and my vision was 20/20 at the time they dilated my eyes and now I cant see. I went back on Wednesday and the Ophthalmologist didn't really have an answer he said MY left eye is now 20/70 and my right eye is 20/50 I have Astigmatism and Nearsightedness now.  What could have caused this?

Your vision should be back to normal now.  Unless something unusual was used to dilate your eyes the regular drops can take as long as 48 hours in a blue/light colored eye. There other thing is sometimes the drops dry the cornea and the cornea gets rough spots. These usually respond to artificial tears and a good night's sleep.  If you are not back to normal or in pain call the ophthalmologist.
