I have had 3 ppd's on my right eye. The first was to remove some scare tissue which was causing a blurry spot in the middle of my right eye. After the surgery I could see perfect. Four weeks later my retina detached. That ppd required a gas bubble to be injected in my eye. I noticed that my eyesight was quite blurry after this surgery but thought it was due to the gas bubble. One week after that surgery the retina detached at the top. The third ppd was then required and a replenishment of the gas bubble. Too much gas was injected and I had to return 2 hours later to have some gas bled off to relive the pressure. Now the gas bubble has completely dissolved and the retina surgeon used a laser on the eye to correct the vision. The result of these surgeries have left me with blurry vision and everything I see is much smaller looking than it is. Is there any hope for my vision to ever be clear and not seeing smaller? This is making me very depressed.
