Hello,I'm 20,female.
In July I started having weird eye symptoms. It started with a squint in both eyes, more in the right eye. It's barely noticeable, it's more uncomfortable. The problem is more symptoms started to appear and I'm very concerned.
When I touch my eyes, both at the same time, my left eye is kind of popping out, it has more of an outward bulge than the right one. The problem is that it's not visible almost at all and doctors do not believe me, they brush it off and they even called me crazy, because all my eye tests are completely fine. But none of them touched my eyes to actually understand what I'm talking about. I went to neurologists multiple times, had 2 brain MRIs, they said it's nothing, just squint. On 6th of November I developed a droopy eyelid in my right eye. The eyes are uneven, and the right one appears smaller/sunken. Went to neurologist, said he can't see anything, but he didn't even look at my eyes. I tested for myasthenia gravis 3 times, nothing. Did many tests for autoimmune diseases, nothing, including my thyroid levels in case it was Grave's.
Everybody dismisses my symptoms. Doctors either say I'm fine, or that my symptoms are not possible, they dismiss me and call me depressed/crazy or that my eye thing is just a perception. I know I'm not crazy, because on this site I saw someone having the exact same symptoms. I'd like to mention I don't usually have pain in/around my eyes, just very rarely. I literally don't know what to do anymore. I'm living in the UK and I'm planning to go to have a casual eye test again and mention my symptoms. If I'm dismissed again, I'm gonna go to GP and maybe try get a referral to specialists at an Eye clinic, but I don't think that's possible because doctors think I'm lying, my bulging eye is not visible. I'm very stressed and scared, I don't know what to do.
I'd really appreciate any helping answer, thank you. And I'm sorry for the long text.
