Iridocyclitis, Scleritis and Episcleritis all at once

I was diagnosed with these three things Thursday by my opthalmologist. He seemed very concerned about it being an initial attack of arthritis and wants me to see a Rheumatologist as soon as possible. I've done some research and find that there is a link to arthritis with each of these conditions but am wondering if the link to arthritis is strongly indicated in my case because I have all three of these things going on at once?

Also is it common for all three of these to come on at once and so quickly? I went from having a clear eye with some pain on Monday to being in the ER with it by Wednesday night because of the pain, redness and swelling.

Thank you for reading.

No this is not typical, those are potentially very serious problems and the simultaneious onset increases the odds of an underlying systemic disease. I would see the rheumatologist ASAP.
