Is it normal to experience the halo effect with your prescription contact lenses

I've recently switched over from glasses to contacts. I tried out a few different trial lenses and decided to go with Acuvue Vita because they were the most comfortable. However, I've been noticing that at night I get the halo effect whenever I see lights. Is this something that will wear off on its own and if not is there anything I can do to fix this problem? Or will I have to go with a different lens? I will mention that I do have Astigmatism and the Acuvue Vitas I have are for Astigmatism, I also know halos around lights are a symptom but I've never had them this bad with the glasses.

There are a number of causes that can only be determined by the person fitting your contacts. Could be residual astigmatism, could be cornea edema.
