Is this normal.?

I just noticed recently when I close one of my eyes to read, the text appears to have depth, like this photo here:

It is not that exaggerated like the photo is, but I can see this (I don't know the English word for this effect) but it is slightly than the photo,  it is kind of funny when you jump a line the text you are focusing have an effect, kind of a button being pressed
I suggest people do this and post here,  just close one oeyef your eyez and try to read a text.

Also, another thing I noticed for ages is when I close one of my eyes, the opened eyes gets a slightly reddish area around the nose bridge region, I think The opened eye is seeing what the closed eye is seeing too?

True depth perception can only come from having both eyes open. However as with the illustration you posted there are ways of simulating depth in a flat plane or with one eye shut.  So for 99.99% of normal eyes the world flattens when one eye is closed.  As to your last paragraph, I don't have a clue.
