Vaseline Vision

I had cataract surgery on the 8th of Oct of 2013  Since then I have complained about  hazy vision.  After several visits to the Dr. both scheduled and unscheduled. and having YAG laser there is no improvement. In fact quite the opposite..
I have been checked for everything that the Dr can think of and at the last visit told me he has done everything he can and he can do no more....the implant was, according  to the card i was given, was an AcrySoft IQ IOL model SN60WF in the right eye.   My vision was hazy from the start...among other diagnosis he said it was Dry Eye and I am using drops 4 times a day with no positive results..My vision is good in that eye after a change in the new prescription..even though it feel like my right eye is straining when wearing my glasses...
I agreed to the simplest lens so I would have the least problems...so did not get the lens that would correct my astigmatism...
Any help or suggestion would be appreciated as the problem is progressing
Jim

The only way to deal with your problem Jim that makes sense to me is find the best cataract surgeon Eye MD ophthalmologists that you can get to and get a second and third independent opinion. Only a examination of your eye can offer you any explanation for your problem.

You can find a worthy consultant at www.geteyesmart.org or Duke and the University of North Carolina have strong ophthalmology departments.
