Lacrimal Caruncle

A small yellowish-white bump has appeared on the lacrimal caruncle of my right eye. The bump looks like a blister. My sclera looks normal and not bloodshot at all. There is no abnormal discharge or irritation. Is this an infection or a tumor or something different? Thanks!

I have developed the same thing.  My husband lost his job and we are without insurance.  Just wondering if you found out what the cause was, and what treatment you had to clear it up.

thank you

Hi Dr. Oyakawa,
If it is not a "stye" do you know what it might be?

It is probably a normal finding or a "stye".  A stye should not occur here.
