Constricted pupil after cataract surgery

It's been 3 days after cataract sugery and the pupil on that eye is constricted and unresponsive. I'm seeing well in bright daylight but not so much indoors and at night. I think my opthamologist told me this was intentional on his part to cause the constriction but he is unavailable to answerany questions until after the weekend. I can't find anything about intentionally constricting the pupil after surgery. Does this sound right and if so when can I expect it to go back to normal?

Often at the end of the surgery the surgeon instils "miochol" to constrict the pupil and hold the IOL back from moving forward. lasts longer in blue/light eyes and shorter in dark brown eyes.  Most wear off 48-72 hours. There are some stronger longer acting constrictors but not used often.

Thanks for the speedy response,  it's been about 84 hours and I have blue eyes. Just wanted to be sure this is normal.
You know if a surgeon leaves town she/he is supposed to have someone take call that can field questions like that.
