Many Vision symptoms. I think optician is wrong :(

Hello there. Just wondering if someone can help me. In the last 3 months I have been getting a lot of strange eye symptoms. First of all I have had a sudden huge increase in floaters. In what seemed like a matter of weeks I went from a few small lines and one cluster to about 4 big clusters and lines that literally everywhere now *before they were easy to ignore where now they are not and sometimes even make me jump because one will suddenly come it my peripheral vision. As well as this, I have bad visual snow, I can see blue field entoptic phenomenon everywhere when looking at even slightly light coloured objects not just when looking at blue and one the scariest things that has come on this week (please tell me if anyone else has this as it's making me quite scared) I have a dark ball appear in my vision whenever I look to the far left, right or upwards direction. I know I had this happen before when I really really made my eyes go as far as they could but now as soon as I look to the far right/left/up (so the iris is like touching the face so to speak and no white is visible the side I am looking) then I get it bad. I also have quite an eye ache most days in both eyes.

I went to the opticians and she said my pressure was fine and everything seemed fine. She couldn't do a dilated eye exam as I was driving so I have that booked for Sunday but she said my pupil was so open she could see 90% of the back of my eye and said it was fine.

I just really can't believe her. I'm so scared i'm going to go blind. Help me please lol.

I think you live in UK. Not sure what the training of an optician is whether it is USA equivalent of optometrist or Eye MD ophthalmologist. You need to see the latter.  In USA an optician doesn't examine patients just makes glasses.  So I suggest you see an eye MD ophthalmologist, have your eyes dilated, have a macular OCT and visual field test.
