Hazel colored eyes can look different at different times and under different lighting conditions.  My eyes sometimes look more green if I wear a green shirt.  Bottom line - it depends on the ambient lighting conditions and surrounding hues.  Now, still get a complete eye examination with an ophthalmologist to make sure your eyes are healthy - but regarding  your eye color, yes if you  look close enough you might see things like this.

You eye color will not change. PERIOD. Depending on ambient lighting it may look different just as paintings look different under different lighting.

See an Eye MD ophthalmologist and run this by him/her. With the biomicroscope he/she can tell the true color and even photograph it if you wish.

My eyes do the same thing. They have been a range of colors including red, blue, green, black, and brown. They have had multiple colors at once too. A time this happened my eyes were brown around my pupil, greyish blue outwards from that, then a ring of blackish purple on the outmost layer.

You're not alone. My eyes have been deep brown most of my life.  In the past five years they have started to turn green from the outside-in. In the past year, one eye, or the other, has turned almost completely green for a day or more. Right now they are both dark brown: in the same mirror and lighting in which I saw one, the other, or both mostly green. Always doubt anyone that claims that something can "never happen". Personally, I hope it's not a bad thing.  Right now, for me, it's just very interesting. If there are people that say that it can't happen, I'm guessing that not many people in history have died from changing eye color... So I'll sleep easy.
Change On!! (And to those people that know everything that can and will happen in this world... Prove it and write a book!)

i'm the same way, i have bright blue eyes but every other day it goes from blue to green with a occasional day where it literately goes yellow and red, not vibrant but clear, and i'm not the only one who noticed, almost all my friends and teachers in the past 8 years have noticed and though i was wearing contacts, i'm being completely honest here

My eyes are two different colors, have been my entire life. But as far back as I can remember my eyes have changed color daily, my husband even says they change with my mood lol. I'd love to know what causes it because it's weird to wake up with one green eye and one brown eye and go to bed with a gray eye and one blue eye.(I look in the same mirror with the same lighting every time)

Could you post some photos taken at the same times of day, same lighting conditions, same clothing?  I've read about this, but never seen any really good pics.

I would like to say/ask, is there any possible chance that they could change? On my birth certificate, it says I have blue eyes. Yes, I realize that I color can change in the first 3 years of a life. Anyways, most people know me as having blue eyes, yet my eyes have been turning green, then back to blue. I have checked by myself and multiple friends, at the same time in a day in the same lighting, and all of them end up surprised. Just in case it was off of a reflection on my clothing, I have worn the same outfit to test them. They still change, so let me ask you again. Is there any possible chance that they could change?

My eyes change color a lot, too, but I doubt that it's because of the lighting. It takes TIME for my eyes to change color, and it sometimes doesn't, even if it's totally different lighting. soo...... I don't know anything for sure, but I don't think you're right..... sorry.

I don't have an answer sorry but I have a similar thing. My eyes are different colours and they change colours frequently. When I am upset they are a deep blue colour, but, if you was to look at me an hour later one would be green with brown around the pupil the other would be light blue with yellow around the pupil. Then a couple of hours later the colours swap eyes and I tend to have a red colour around one of my pupils when I get really tired. I've always had it but the odd thing is, is that, the next day my eyes will be totally different colours. They might be brown with blue around my pupils for example.

The apparent color of the eye can appear different from the amount of folding of the iris which in turn is due to the size of the pupil. Many patients comment on this is my practice and almost all of them have iris that have variable pigment in the iris.

I don't have an answer but everyone in my family has always noticed my eyes would change color a lot. When I was little they would change colors at least twice a week, sometimes daily. The lighting, my clothing, my mood none of that mattered because it would be such a dramatic color change. I remember I had such blue eyes then the next day they were brown. I am now 21 and my eyes still change colors. Usually they are green but some days they will look gray/blue...I never really thought anything of it until today.

It's heterochromia iridum and its harmless unless its in one eye or something that results from trauma.

If you have had it you're whole life you're fine.

Many of you reporting this trait may also have red hair or red tones in your hair or beard (males), very fair sensitive skin, many of you may have freckles those that don't likely have someone I  their genetic line that did.

This condition results from a lack of significant amounts of melanin within the body.

Your eyes have various cells that create color and everyone's eyes will get a little lighter or darker in different lighting, however in this instance that's not the cause of this.

I would wager if you have someone look at your eyes from an extreme side angle without you having a shirt on in a neutral color room many of you would hear reported your eyes are grey, off white, or ivory.

These reflective colors are what's responsible for your stunning eyes but they can only be colors you have at least a few pigment cells for.   You can play with them by wearing basis shades of green, yellow, brown, or blue shirts.

This isn't the end all be all though what's happening is whatever color your eyes can show that means you have a few cells with that pigment or that combine to make that pigment.

So green for example wear an emerald green shirt and your unique colorless cells in your eyes will reflect the shirt with the cells create color green and result in stunning green eyes.

Grey / ivory, any shade of green or blue, any light hazel to mid hazel (i can't go brown or darker).

Purple i haven't seen before but it would be a sight to see.

Your mood can also trigger these changes.

Different moods trigger the release of different transmitters with different physiological effects that can change muscle tension in the ocular muscles or change the environment of the eye and make some people's eyes change.

Anyway don't stress your eyes they're beautiful and quite rare which is why people tell you it's not possible.

On a side note i can have multiple colors at once in concentric rings (meaning a defined rinh of blue on the outer edge of the iris, followed by a defined green ring in the middle, and on the inner edge near the pupil a defined yellow ring) which i still can't explain and haven't figured out how to replicate it just seems random.

This happens to me too. I've found it does have something to do with the shirt I'm wearing. If I'm wearing a green shirt, they will most likely be green, but a blue shirt will make them blue. This is because the type of eyes we have is a result of lack of pigmentation in our body, so our eyes create almost a reflective surface. We don't have as much pigmentation in our eyes, so our brain makes up for it by trying to imitate colors it sees and making that into a pigment, if that makes sense. This is more likely if you have fair skin, because this goes hand in hand with the pigmentation in our bodies.

My eyes do that as well I have naturally light blue, hazel or green eyes I found the change depending on my mood that day. Curious I asked my eye specialist as I am also colour deficient and she described it as a change in environment whether it be health, mood , diet that results in a change in my Melanin level ( the chemical responsible for eye colour) and that it was likely that changes in my SEROTONIN and ENDORPHINS due to my moods change my melanin levels. But it’s easier just to say it’s magic!

Hard to say anything useful to someone that believe in magic. The color changes because of ambient lighting and the coloration of the iris and size of the pupil. (like a fan with a pattern being opened and closed).

According to me, There are numerous reasons why your eyes may, at any rate, seem to change shading. In specific cases, similar to eye ailment and changes in your eating routine, your eye shading may really change. In any case, commonly it is just a matter of point of view and components that can reflect at you, deceiving the psyche of those taking a gander at you into speculation your eyes simply changed into an alternate shade. The best activity when your eyes begin changing shading is to get an eye exam. I hope your this type of eye problem reduce early.

You have always wash your eye with fresh water and use some quality base eye-drop so your eye can be relax  for some time, if you want to go for Spa specialist or eye specialist that also very good option
