My daughters eyes

The last week of Febuary a friend who is an optometrist assistant noticed my daughters left eye the pupil was enlarged.  I took her to the eye doctor, the doctor noticed it was red so she gave her drops and said she just got something in her eye that dilated it.  The doctor said bring her back monday if it is the same.  We brought her back monday.  The doctor gave her a field vision test she did ok on that.  The eye responed fine to light.  She just basically said it will be ok.  The Pressures were 16 in right and 18 in left.  A week went by and the only change was the pupil mainly dilates in dim light.  The doctor said she will chart it.  I took her to an eye specialist.  He looked at her and took pictures of her retina.  Nobody dilated her eyes.  He said her optic nerves are enlarge for someone her age and the pressures are high for someone her age.  The retina looked ok.  He wants to see her in six months.  Shouldn't something else be done.  What is making the nerves enlarged?  They say because there are no symptoms they want to wait.  Is this right?  The left eye still dilates in softer light.  The one doctor called it Adie's pupil.  They were looking for glaucoma.
