eye flickering around the corner

Once in a while, i experience flickering of lines of lights around the corner of my eyes. If i look up, it moves to a higher and cannot locate it exactly. It lasts for about 10-15 minutes. When this thing happen, i feel so lost and cannot concentrate on anything. I wanted to know the exact medical term of this, causes of it, and cure to it.

i have seen the eye specialist and she said my eyes are absolutely fine and that it may be because of tiredness. I don;t know if i should see the neuroligist

See an ophthalmologist. It can be due to serious disease of brain, heart blood vessels or eye
