Optic neuritis

I was diagnosed with ON right eye in 2006 vision never returned and no treatment. ON has now occurred in left eye I was given IV steroids with no change. I'm now on cartia 100mg and they are saying ischemic neuropathy maybe. It's been a month of testing and prodding and I feel I've been put in the too hard basket. I have cut out all inflammatory foods and taking various supplements to reduce the inflammation. I don't know where to turn for help.

You need to be under the care of a very good neuro-ophthalmologist who can figure out exactly what is going on.  Your age and other risk factors will determine what conditions you may be at risk for.  It takes a very knowledgeable doctor and a willingness to do a lot of testing to figure cases such as this out.
