Oral Hsv1 optic disc in eye

Today I went to eye clinic to check up the eyes.Doctor did dilated fundus eye test and said "fundus is ok but optic disc cannot be seen clear ".

I said about my oral hsv1 and she said it is not the symptom of hsv1.

Do any one have idea or know about these tests?

Do any one experienced same?

Was the 'eye doctor" a MD ophthalmologist? or a non-MD optometrist.  If optometrist you need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist.   There are many reasons the optic nerve might not be seen well but for most of them it would make the rest of the back of the eye (retina/ fundus) also hard to see. These would be disease of the cornea, lens, vitreous or retina.  So I would ask for referral to Eye MD or get second opinion.

Doctor is ophthalmologist and eye specialist  .The below are excat words she wrote on report.
Fundus : Media clear
Disc : Margins blurred (Otherwise NAI)
FRT.

Can you please give your comments on above details?
That is different.  I don't know what NAI and FRT mean.   Blurred optic nerve margins could mean the doctor is worried about a condition called 'papilledema".   Frankly only the doctor that looked at your optic nerve can tell if its a problem. You need to discuss this with the ophthalmologist.   If its papilledema it is a big problem, if it is just indistinct it may be a variation of normal and no problem at all. Too big of a range there to discuss for your.
Thank you doctor, today I will try to take second opinion from other doctor and let you know the oitcome.
Thanks. Best of luck.  Very very often this is a normal variant especially if you are farsighted (hyperopic)  + plus lens for distance.

Hi, I have black eye floaters in my left eye. I went to opthalmologist and had a eye check up and after dye test she told that nothing is abnormal in my eye. Is there any relation between hsv1 and eye floaters?
