[PHOTOS] My eye gets red frequently and now has a small bump. Is this pterygium?

Hello, I'm worried about my right eye. I've sometimes felt a slight burning sensation for the past 4 months now and it frequently gets bloodshot since I work late hours on my computer. Now I have a small bump between my cornea and the sclera. Please look at the following photos to see if anything is wrong with my eye and whether I should seek professional help:  http://www.tinima.com/right-eye-photos.jpg

I'm scared this might be the beginnings of pterygium.

Photographs are never as good as a eye biomicroscope but you don't have a pterygium. you might have a small pngueculum or a small conjunctival cyst.  see an ophthalmologist eye MD for a definitive exam.
