PINK EYE ! HELP :(

hi . i have had redness in my eyes for a month. I went to lenscrafyers and was diagnosed with conjunctivitis and i tood antibotics for 2 weeks it got better but not completley. A week later it started comming back so i went back to the doctor and they said i had dty eyes and prescribed me restasis. It made it so much worse! SO i went to the ER two days ago and hey prescribed my neosporn drops for my eyes. i woke up and my eyes were the redest ive ever seen!  they burn, tear and are sensitive to light.is it going to get better ? or is this gonna get worse?

Although, reading back, I see you have the problem in both eyes, and uveitis usually attacks only one eye at a time. Perhaps you have a very bad allergy or a non-bacterial infection (fungus infections actually get worse on antibiotics). But if you are in that much pain, I still would try to see an eye specialist before Monday.

You could have uveitis, which is very serious. You need to see an eye MD immediately. Too bad it's the weekend, but I would call opthamologist offices anyway, probably one is available on Saturday for emergencies. Untreated uveitis can damage your eyesight permanently and needs steroid treatment. It must be hard to diagnose, because I went through the same experience, wasting time and getting worse on antibiotic drops from my family doctor, until I was in agony. Good luck getting in to see an eye MD today.
