Papilloedema.

Dr.John.We have spoken before on Medhelp and you were very helpful.I hope you can be again.
I have IIH/PTC and paps in both eyes. I had a VP shunt fitted last Dec and while it is working , it does not seem to be able for the increased intracranial pressure I suffer from.My neurosurgeon, who I would rate very highly, has sent me home  for pain managment and my Ophthalmologist to keep an eye on any deterioration. Any further sugery is not possible because the ventricles have collapsed.
I am very concerned that I will lose my eye sight and with a continued high opening pressure (32) I cant see how the paps can improve. If you could please explain it  or recommened a site that might help to alleviate my fears I would be most grateful. Thanking you,Cath278.
