I have been tested for diabetes and thyroid issues (negative), myasthenia gravis (neg for acetyl choline receptor AB, but have yet to test for other possible related ABs) and lupus (test still out).
Why would you suggest lumbar puncture? Anything specific you would be looking for (besides the above)?

Been to those Docs,,,they just don't know.They are supposed to be the top in their field in St.Louis Mo...so,,,,,thank's for the help.
It is extremely important that she see a neurologist or preferably a neuro-ophthalmologist since she has problems in different areas. She may have a 6th nerve palsy causing an inturned eye (just speculating.) It can sometimes be caused by herpes zoster (shingles) as well as multiple other things. It is very important that all the nearby cranial nerves are tested as well. A lumbar puncture (spinal tap) may also be in order. Overall, I recommend she should probably be at a major referral hospital or university teaching hospital since this is a complex case.
