Phosphenes in peripheral vision that moves

This is my one last shot, I have been seeing three eye neurologists and and three neurologists and none of them could give me an answer, all of them said the same thing that it is just a migraine however I am looking for more opinions since I feel it is getting worse.

Since December 2021 I had a dermoid cist in my ovary which I had removed. I also have hyperthyroid which leads to my hormones swinging like crazy.

I had a really terrible ocular migraine 2 weeks after the surgery. Since then I have been experiencing
Palinopsia

Visual Snow
And even worse I start to experience Phosphenes when I move my eye, Mostly when I am sat down and working or just when I woke up.

After having an Ocular migraine which hit me for 4 hours straight, I woke up with my right eye completely blurry to the point I could not see even 1 metre or recognise any faces.

Neurologist sent me for an MRI on my brain and it came out completely clear and told me I just have a migraine and sent me to the eye neurologist which gave me a visual field test too and told me they could not see any wrong with my eye either no inflammation or anything and just sent me home.

1 month later I had another MRI again for my Head + Neck and Spine because I had suspicion of MS however everything came back clear except that my neck has bad posture

I am still continuing to see moving phosphenes especially when I woke up.
The phosphenes sometimes look like a white or yellow blob/circle and it always moves around the edge of my eye. Similar to when you press your eye with your finger, Mostly happens when I just woke up or when I am sitting and working on the computer also when I am looking down and lift my head up. It is getting worse when i'm speaking loud like laughing or having some head or shoulder movement as well.

Neurologist also recommended me to have an EEG test and the results came out perfectly fine.

What is this eye phenomenon I am facing? Could this be something like ON? I can't fully understand the doctors answers, Some say it's migraine aura/ ocular migraine but it's been going on for 4 months now everyday.

Please give me some insight

I have been doing this forum since 2007 and there are many posts like yours. The first thing I would tell you is that it is highly unlikely that you have anything that is life of vision threatening. That said your problems falls within the area covered by this review. LINK:  https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31714263/

Hello thank you for the response, After spending a long time searching I can across this area which is full of people describing the exact eye issue that I am experiencing.
I was wondering if you could take a look at what people are saying. specifically this "orb" that I see moving in the edge of my vision.

If you could please give some insight I would appreciate it, does this still fall under part of visual snow?
I was at an ophthalmology meeting and the speaker, whose name I forget just now, gave a long lecture about the subject. It is poorly understood, has many manifestations, and only a few centers are able to do research because it is infrequent enough that it is hard to get enought people with the problem to test.  There is a spectrum of symptoms, like you described in your post. visual snow is but one component of this emerging syndrome. I really can't say much more. Nature is among the most difficulty and authoratative medical journals in the world. This is a recent articles. The references will list the leading researchers. You might ask the neuro-ophthalmologists to refer you to a center that does this type of research.  LINK   https://www.nature.com/articles/s41582-020-0324-8
Thank you for the response John.
I have been put on Depakine Chrono which I think is Sodium valproate as the doctor told me it would help with migraine/palinopsia.
However Since I started taking it when I wake up I see a grid like geometric pattern in my whole vision both eye for about 5 seconds that looks like this imgur link https://imgur.com/a/YCgnIvl
Is this another type of eye issue or could it be related to visual snow/medication?
Sorry I am not able to parse out the cause. since it started after you went on the new medication report it to the physician that prescribed it.
