Pink eye and chemosis

My eyes look terribly red, swealling and when i look in the mirror i notice there is a watery shadow over the vessels in the conjunctiva, which my best hint would be chemosis, whatever it is the case, its been a week and things arent getting any better, since the pain isn't going away, what would be the best i can do?.
Would Maxidex eye drops work for me?. A friend of mine suggested to take them if i feel so much pain, but i dont know if this will relief the pink eye.

Thank you. But unfortunately i cant find a doctor so easily where i live. I managed to set up an appointment to see one the next week.

However is there anything i can do on the meantime?.
Should i take any medication?

You should see an ophthalmologist to determine the cause of the chemosis and redness.  There are many causes from infection, inflammation, and systemic diseases.
