My eye won't open all the way anymore???

I've been posing more for digestive problems on here (since its my biggest concern right now) But figured i would see if anyone had any idea’s as to why my left eye wont open all the way anymore?  It’s been “puffy” since late July (I think) and there have been maybe 4 or 5 occasions were its been fine, it does seem a little worse when i have my contacts in.  The outer corner seems a little more puffy then the rest of the lid, but it doesn’t really hurt at all and there doesn’t appear to be a sty up there or anything and the whole lid only opens about 3/4th of the way... Its only really annoying because i think it make me look a little weird and sometimes it obstructs me vision slightly... any ideas?

I don't think they're related. Get your digestive problem cleared up then tackle the eyelid situation (unless it gets a lot worse or something new develops).

Do you think there is any correlation between my droopy lid and my recent stomach problems... or is that not something i should be concerned about?  And how soon should I go into an Eye MD.  I've been really sick lately so I'm hoping to get through this before I move on to getting my eye fixed...hopefully.  Thank you for your help!

You need to see an Eye MD as there are some things that are very serious that can cause a droopy eyelid (ptosis). Find one near you at www.aao.org
