Possible Positive Dysphotopsia after Cataract Surgery. Next step?

I also have mild Fuch's. The gel was used to protect the cornea during cataract surgery. No problems with the surgery. I'm in my mid 60's. Both eyes have the Symfony EDOF lens. Right away I noticed fireworks, spider web type starburst.  I'm a tad over three months and this has not resolved. It is pretty bad and all size - some HUGE. I have the starbursts during the day, inside, outside, and the night is the worst. Have colored lights bleeding and particularly during rainy weather I see some other visual abnormalities. I have not had YAG. I have read for many nights the info on this site so I know the patient horror stories and doctor advice. Too late for me.  I do not want to make another bad decision and I am at a crossroads. Doctor said YAG may help but probably will not eliminate the visual disturbances. (I do have some floaters that are more noticeable during the day but don't really bother me). I understand that once you do YAG it is not advisable or more difficult to do an IOL exchange. Doctor said I need to decide if I want an exchange pretty quick - like in a month or two. He does not want to do a lens exchange after a YAG. I will spend this time trying to decide if I can live with the starburst bombardment or should I risk getting an IOL exchange, or do the YAG. I am leery of doing the YAG after reading the bad outcomes of many with Pos/Dys. Add to the mix is the mild Fuch's - plus 1 guttata. I'm trying to get a second opinion from another doctor who has a specialty in Fuch's. Any direction or further information is appreciated.

water over the bridge but if you have moderate or severe Fuch's we would not put anything in your eye but a monofocal. I would strongly suggest you get 2nd and 3rd opinions, independent As soon as possible.
