I had cataract surgery yesterday to remove the cataract that was the result of a RD 7 mos ago. I have a scleral buckle and had oil for 4 months. My doctor said surgery went "perfect" but today I notice a wierd kind of jiggling of my vision when I read and move my eye. My vision is very poor in that eye. Then tonight I was looking in the mirror and the sun was hitting just right, I could see that the pupil has something moving around in it. We got a flashlight and looked and it is liquid bouncing around in there, it's like there is a bubble in there. I do have residual oil bubbles, could it be an oil bubble? Just wondering what anyone thinks of that, if they've had anything like that. I called the doctor's office and the doctor on call (a doctor in another practice) said he'd see me tomorrow even though he doesn't think there is a problem. I am a little worried about this. My RD was very severe and several of the retinal doctors in the practice that I see for that have told me that if it had been caught earlier, it would have been much better. Now, I'm paranoid and don't want to wait very long whenever I think there is a problem.
