Posterior Staphyloma development

Hello, I am 28 and have -6 myopia. Recently had an exam and everything checked out good and I even specifically asked if the retinal specialist could see a staphyloma and he said no.

I have read that staphyloma's dont really develop until after the age of 40 and makes me curious/worried this will happen to me.

My prescription has been stable since I was 17 and if anything it has sort of reduced over time.

Any insight would be appreciated.

No it won't happen. If it does you will be rare enough to write up in a medical journal.
