seasonal mucus fishing syndrome?

by searching over the internet i know that this MFS thing is common and i'm not the only one suffering (no one i have ever met in person has it) but you see no one that i know of, has mentioned having it in only a particular season, which for me is summer.

so yeah, only when summer approaches, the problem starts; and then ends with summer. plus i dont think it has anything to do with any kind of allergies because if i'm in a air conditioned room, it will stop. so its like it only happens in warm weather.

i have never used make up, i have normal eye sight, never had an eye surgery or any surgery for that matter and the products i use like shampoo, perfume, deodrant and blah blah i know probably have nothing to do with it because i use them all year and this problem only happens like summer.

i'm 15 and i have been having this problem for yearssss. i dont remember exactly but i guess it started when i was around 10. my mom took me to several doctors and eye specialists who did not know **** about the problem, since we lived in a small town, in a developing country. (some said i have an eye sight problem, some said its something wrong with my nose or the bone or something, others said it was because of allegeries and what not. not one mentioned MFS). all the eye drops or whatever medication i was given worked as long as i was using it or maybe for a month or two more, then it would start again.

since seeing a good doctor can be expensive where i live, i've been doing research on my own. well i only searched the net once last summer once and now again, for like 2 hours lol but you get it.... and found that many combined or you could say none of the causes match.

because of this stupid fish problem i get swollen or red eyes and dark circles and people think i'm some depressed teenager since i'm usually quite and a bit different. it gets so so annoying with all the time that i have to waste on it.

they say it will stop if we taking the white thing out, now i can stop taking the stingy, gooey thingy out but what about the tears??? i cant stop wiping them cuz obviously i dont wanna look like i'm crying plus its ticklish.

oh and does anyone else have loads and loads and loads of tears after rubbing your eyes and the continue falling? like for hours? like even after one hell lot of time after the white thingy stops forming?

just wanted to know if anyone could relate to my condition....

Yes use the search feature and you will find several discussion threads on MFS.  The basic problem is poor tear quality or quantity.  Since the eye drops worked you may need to stay on artificial tears several times/day indefinitely. The problem is more common in females than males. You can also try warm compresses as that is often helpful
