Raw baccon oil splashed in eye

Hey doctor I'm so glad your here. I was working at the deli cooking some bacon, when I got the full case of bacon off the fridge the box accidentally slipped off my hands and some bacon juice splashed in my eye am I at risk for infection? Also about 1 hour later I was in the bathroom and some toilet water ended up splashing in my eye I immediately shut my eyes and washed it. Was that a risk too? What a unluckky day at work. Please your comment will be appreciated :)

Those are not circumstances likely to cause eye infection. Rinse your eyes well. As soon as you can shower and wash your face and hair well. If you have access to artificial tears put in hourly till bedtime.  You should do fine.  Remember anything toxic or irritating in your eye rinse immediately with clean tap water or if you have it eye irrigation fluid
