Red Eyes from Contacts

I used to not have any problems with my contact lenses, which I have been wearing for a little under a year. But I switched solutions very briefly, then switched back and now my eyes get very badly bloodshot every time I wear them. I switched everything out and stopped wearing them for a couple of months, and even spent a period of time using steroid drops from my eye doctor. No dice. Still red eyes every time. What could be causing this and what can I do about it?

Mine have started doing the same thing!  I think mine has something to do with my thyroid disorder though.  I have hashimoto's.  I also have elevated eye pressure.

I've already spent a good chunk of change for my eye doctor to eventually basically tell me that he doesn't know what's causing it.

Redness from contact lenses has many causes from solution to the contact lens.

You need to work through this with your eye doctor.
